How We Use Cookies

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies SETECH ("we", "us" or "our") uses when you visit our website, and why. This site respects your privacy and uses only the cookies genuinely needed for the site to function and to remember your preferences.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly and remember your preferences.

3. Cookies We Use

This website does not use any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies today. The two cookies we use are both first-party, and are listed in full below:

• setech_language — Cookie: setech_language · Provider: SETECH · Purpose: Stores the visitor's language preference (English/Turkish) · Category: Preference · Duration: 1 year
• setech_cookie_consent — Cookie: setech_cookie_consent · Provider: SETECH · Purpose: Stores your choices from this cookie notice (accept/reject) · Category: Necessary · Duration: 6 months

4. Necessary Cookies

Necessary cookies are always active and cannot be disabled, because they are required for the site's core functions. The setech_cookie_consent cookie falls into this category: it prevents the site from asking for your cookie choices repeatedly.

5. Preference Cookies

Preference cookies let us remember your site settings. The setech_language cookie falls into this category and remembers your selected language (English or Turkish). Language selection continues to work even if you reject optional analytics or marketing cookies.

6. Analytics Cookies

This website does not currently use any analytics cookies or tools (e.g. Google Analytics). If an analytics tool is added in the future, it will only be loaded after you give consent through the cookie preferences panel, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Marketing / Third-Party Cookies

This website does not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel). If such a technology is added in the future, it will only be loaded after you give consent through the cookie preferences panel, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Cookie Duration

The setech_language cookie is stored in your browser for 1 year, and the setech_cookie_consent cookie for 6 months. At the end of these periods the cookies expire automatically, and you may need to set your language or cookie preferences again on your next visit.

9. Managing Preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of the page. Most browsers also let you view, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block the language-preference cookie, your preferred language will not be remembered between visits and the site will default to English.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies used on our site change. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last updated.
